ABACA and ddp group Announce Strategic Partnership

Paris based photo agency ABACAPRESS and German ddp group, each a leading press
photo agency in their country, will join forces to increase photo production for their
core business, and to develop innovative services for new markets and corporate
brands.

Having worked together successfully since 2011, the two agencies have decided to
further strengthen their cooperation. It is yet another step to broaden and expand the
range of services offered by both agencies, and it is also a starting point for the
formation of a major player in the European photo business.

"ABACA's expertise in photography and its outstanding international production
combined with the diversity of ddp group and its down-to-earth approach to new
markets, will help both companies to grow and develop our joint digital and
production strategy" says ddp co-founder Katharina Doerk.

"We are very pleased to welcome the ddp owners as new shareholders in our
company" says ABACAPRESS CEO, Jean-Michel Psaila. "The two companies and the two
teams share a common DNA regarding production and distribution of photo and video
content. With more financial strength and with new team members, ABACA will
increase momentum for further growth in France and for the development of
innovative services for both traditional and new markets."

"Acquiring an equity stake in ABACAPRESS is a significant milestone for our strategic
partnership. Newswire services and global picture providers like Getty Images,
Shutterstock, VCG or Adobe are already dominating the picture market in certain
regions. By initiating a network of leading independent European agencies that are
reliable, flexible and - most of all - produce relevant visual content, we are going to
establish a very attractive alternative for traditional media clients and corporate
brands in Europe." describes ddp co-founder, Ulf Schmidt-Funke the scope of the cooperation.
