Visual Connections has announced that Visual Connections Chicago, the leading forum to meet and learn from image/footage buyers, will be moving to a new venue in 2014. Bookings for the Thursday, April 24, 2014 event will open on Wednesday, December 18 at 10am ET.
The event will take place in the beautiful Ivy Room at Tree Studios, which is ideally sized and located just two blocks from the Magnificent Mile, and in close proximity to the Loop.
Chicago has the second largest concentration in the US of advertising firms and publishers (see the registration list for the 2012 event), so this is the place to win new business.

Visual Connections visual media expos offer you a unique opportunity to build stronger relationships with your existing clients and broaden your client base in all market sectors. They only admit professional image/footage buyers and researchers, ensuring that exhibitor’s time and investment is entirely productive.
All suppliers of stock photography, illustration, footage and other visual media, as well as assignment artists and reps are welcome. The event offers:
  • One-on-one contact with hundreds of image buyers.
  • Great incentives for buyers to attend: educational sessions held throughout the day, free food and beverages throughout the day, and a prize drawing.
  • No hidden extras: furniture, internet, power, show guide entry, food, beverages and access to the buyer registration list are all included.
  • Complimentary gallery listing in the Image Sources directory, the most comprehensive in the industry.
Past exhibitors in Chicago range from some of the biggest in the industry to the smaller specialized: Corbis, Bridgeman Art Library, Shutterstock, Blend, Stockfood, National Geographic, Alamy, AP Images, Custom Medical, Everett Collection, Lonely Planet Images, Schumann & Company, and many others.
