Wave, a new royalty-free collection launched by Canadian stock agency First Light, addresses the environment and its impact. Wave focuses on imagery showing positive practices, lifestyles, responsible recreation, sustainable energy production, organic agriculture and protected habitats. The collection includes both still and footage stock.

First Light, Wave's Toronto-based parent, reports growing ad demand for images that promote environmental and social sensitivity. First Light is one of Canada's larger stock agencies, representing some 130 of the country's photographers in 30 international markets. In Canada, it represents the world's leading brands, including Getty, Corbis and Jupiterimages.

Established as First Light's subsidiary, Wave will be half-owned by contributing photographers, which include both seasoned pros and up-and-coming talent. The new brand promises contributors a competitive revenue split and is seeking additional distributors.
