The Flickr Multicolr search has been updated to work with 10 million Creative Commons-licensed images hosted by Flickr. The search engine, which allows users to locate images by specifying colors and their combinations, is part of Idée Labs, which the Canadian company describes as a playground to showcase its visual search technology. Though Flickr provided over 10 million images and the service is built using the Flickr API, the photo-sharing company has not endorsed or certified the Idée Flickr Multicolr Search.
