Barcelona-based
age fotostock has partnered with
Stock Xchange, an image agency and production company that will represent the age fotostock and pixtal brands in Singapore.
The deal was initiated by Stock Xchange, which supplies the advertising industry and reports growing demand in the local market. In addition, the Singapore agency wanted to concentrate staff efforts on sales, marketing and stock production management. Outsourcing technology by joining age fotostock's THP distribution platform is "providing an all-round solution," according to Stock Xchange managing director Jon Tan.
By joining age's THP platform, Stock Xchange has gained access to 500,000 rights-managed and nearly 100,000 royalty-free images. The agency's Web site currently distributes over 7 million images.
Stock Xchange is also among Alamy's Singapore distributors, alongside Bes Stock and Photolibrary.
