About.com Signs Agreement With Getty Images

In a first-of-its-kind relationship for the company, About.com has gained access to hundreds of thousands of images by entering into an agreement with Getty Images. Financial details were not disclosed. Images from the Getty collection will be integrated into About.com's more than 600 GuideSites. The New York Times Company-owned Web property aims to provide visual consistency and improve the quality of images found on its GuideSites.
