Vancouver-based maXx images has relaunched its Web site. The site is now fully e-commerce-enabled and offers access to over 3 million royalty-free and rights-managed images.

Established in 1994, the agency services stock-image and footage buyers in Canada and the United States. maXx's own collection of close to 3,500 rights-managed images is supplemented by a number of well-known brands, such as Spain's age footstock and U.K.'s Image Source. Recently added collections include the royalty-free medicalRF and two footage brands, Getty Images' Photodisc Film and Digital Vision Film. maXx also manages the Canadian operations of StockFood.

Though the new maXx Web site also promotes a creative subscription offer, this page redirects potential buyers to Index Open. The stock subscription service, recently expanded to the U.K., was purchased by Australia's Photolibrary as part of the 2006 Index Stock acquisition.
