Another independent research study confirms previous reports of other countries outpacing the United States in advertising growth. According to GroupM, U.S. was among the slowest-growing ad markets in 2007, with under 3% change from 2006. The trend will continue in 2008. GroupM forecasts that the fastest-growing ad markets will be North Asia (19%), emerging Europe (18%) and Latin America (16%). Though U.S. remains the biggest spender, countries to watch are China, Russia, Brazil and India.
