European production company ableimages has launched a rights-managed collection. The company believes the segment offers a growth opportunity for those who can "keep it small, lean and keen," according to founder David Harrigan. ableimages values quality over quantity, producing about 500 new rights-managed images per quarter. It also donates 1% of its sales to Friends of the Earth.
