When Her Imperial Majesty Farah Pahlavi, Shahbanou of Iran, celebrates her 70th birthday on Oct. 14, media stories are likely to be accompanied by images licensed through TopFoto. The London agency has just secured exclusive rights to digitize and license images from the Imperial Iranian Archives, including the Empress’ childhood, life with the Shah and exile from Iran. Already available online are 1,300 images from the archives.
