As reported by The Seattle Times, the top Getty Images attorney departed on Sept. 17 to pursue a full-time teaching career. John McKay, one of the eight U.S. Attorneys at the center of the recent Justice Department controversy, spent less than four months at Getty prior to accepting an offer to head up a new ethics center at Seattle University, where he has been teaching. Both McKay and Getty Images say this is an amicable parting. McKay was appointed Getty's general counsel in late May.
