According to the Beijing-based stock production house Blue Jean Images, China is the world's fastest-growing advertising market. Projected to overtake Japan by as early as 2008, the Chinese ad industry is fueling demand for relevant stock imagery. Blue Jean's answer is a wholly owned collection of 10,000 royalty-free, locally produced images. The company, which launched a new adult collection during this week's Picture Archive Council of America's international conference in Las Vegas, also offers services including advance support for photographers planning shoots in China, creative research into local visual and cultural trends, post-production and commissioned photography services.
