John Birdsall, the U.K. library that specializes in imagery depicting social issues, has expanded its collection with images that feature the elderly, the disabled and families. Recognizing the trends of corporate social responsibility and increasing media coverage devoted to social issues, the library is banking its new imagery to address issues such as fostering and adoption, mental health, homelessness, education and exclusion. John Birdsall sells both single images and CDs, and has a 15,000-image rights-managed library in addition to the royalty-free offering.
