New York-based microstock-subscription leader
Shutterstock has announced an on-demand offering that offers a lower-commitment option to subscribers. Instead of imposing a daily or monthly download limit, on-demand plans allow image purchases to be spread out over a one-year period. Designed for lower-volume customers, the plans offer images at $4 to $10 per download for one-time fees of $49 to $229, ranging based on the desired total image quantity and image resolution. Shutterstock has also renamed its original subscription plan, dubbing it "25-A-Day."
