Alamy Lowers Payout Threshold: Again!

Posted on 11/5/2013 by Jim Pickerell | Printable Version | Comments (0)

Alamy has decided to lower the payout threshold for contributors and make payments whenever a contributor has $75 on account. No fees will be charged at the Alamy end regardless of the method or currency the contributor chooses.

Recently they announced that they would lower the payment threshold from $175 to $100, but introduced fees for some payment options.

They now acknowledge that “We completely underestimated the strength of feeling regarding the options that involved fees.”

They will change the contract again and begin paying out balances above $75, starting with the payrun at the beginning of December.
