A reader recently pointed me to a comprehensive
index of global newspapers that may be of some use to readers. Links are provided to each publication. This index seems to be very thorough in its listing of publications in smaller countries, but when it comes to major market it seems to only list major national publication and few, if any, of the smaller local and regional publications.
For example in the United States only 9 publications are listed and none of the ones in small or medium size cities or towns. In Canada 18 publications are listed; in Germany 13 and in the UK. I would have expected many more to have been included in these countries. Nevertheless, the overall list may be the most comprehensive available. I offer this for reader consideration.
