Two companies have announced new video offerings.
age fotostock is promoting its
THP Photo & Video Services (Technological Hosting Platform) that consolidates imagery from many suppliers and hosts it for distributors around the world. The THP has been hosting still images for over 10 years and has more than 13 million high resolution image files in its collection. The company now hosts close to 100,000 video clips in addition to the still images.
During 2010 the THP uploaded 3.2 million new professionally edited images belonging to close to 200 different brands, 60 of which are new
on the THP. That number also includes the carefully edited work of over 1,000 selected, age fotostock photographers that enrich the collections of
age fotostock (Rights Managed),
Pixtal (Royalty Free) and

Stock Footage Online (
www.stockfootageonline.com) has launched a new site with links to 80 leading stock footage specialist libraries. Currently, visitor figures for this site are headed toward 100,000 per month.
The Publishing Factory, Stock Footage Online's parent company, has a database to over 80,000 professional buyers. The company plans to send each of these buyers updated industry information on a regular basis in a monthly newsletter.
