Instagram and Camerphones As Tools

John Lund has written an interesting blog post about why He Hates Instagram.

One of the points he makes is that now he never gets a break from work because his image creation equipment is always with him. Thus, he is “always” thinking about images he can make, or elements he can capture for future images. Sometimes the human mind needs a break.

Nevada Wier also has some interesting comments on her blog about a success she had when only an iPhone was available. She points out that the “type of camera one uses is irrelevant; it is how you use it that matters.”

And John also directs readers to David Sanger’s amazing portfolio on Instagram.

At the end John concludes, “I guess I don’t really hate Instagram after all:” Check out the links.
