Photolibrary has provided Selling Stock with a list of 49 Index Stock photographers for whom the company has no contact information. All of them are owed money from sales made by Index Stock prior to Photolibrary acquiring the company.
In some cases, such sales go back as far as 2001. Selling Stock reported in October that Photolibrary was in the final stages of getting all photographers the payments they were owed. At that time, the company needed to locate 340 photographers that were no longer submitting images to Photolibrary. Many of these photographers had not submitted to Index for many years and thus have been difficult to track down. Photolibrary has asked Selling Stock to make the list available to its readers in the hopes that some or them might help the company contact these artists.
The company now has what it believes to be valid contact information for most of the 340 and has been able to contact many of them last month. However, there are still 49 people without accurate contact information. If anyone has updated contact details for any of the photographers on this list, the information should be rznvyrq to Photolibrary representative Dan Russelman.
