Some in the stock photography business will wonder, “whatever happened to Jeff Burke?”  Jeff was the creator of the FoodPix, Brand X and Botanica brands and sold his company (PictureArts which also owned Nonstock at the time) to JupiterImages in 2005. (Jupiter was later acquired by Getty Images.)

As outgoing president of PACA in April 2006 Jeff offered a thought provoking presentation on where he believed the stock industry was headed. At that time he also announced that he and his wife, Lorraine Triolo, were retiring from the stock photo business.

Since then Jeff has devoted himself to creating fine art images. A show of his new work called “Beautiful ParadiseLand” will be opening at the Glass Garage Gallery on November 5th in Los Angeles and run through December 30, 2011. The gallery is located at 414 Robertson Blvd., West Hollyood, CA.
