In support of #SmallClaimsDay all U.S. image creators, stock agents (and friends of the creative community) are being asked to write their Congresspersons before January 17, 2018 and request that they co-sponsor H.R. 3945. By using this site (http://copyrightalliance.org/get-involved/add-your-voice/ ) sending letters is quick and easy to do!

The Copyright Alliance Small Claims Working Group is trying to raise awareness among members of Congress of the need for the COPYRIGHT ALTERNATIVE in Small-Claims Enforcement (CASE) Act of 2017 (H.R. 3945).

Litigation is expensive and many creators simply can’t afford it.  In effect, the U.S. copyright system currently provides creators with rights but no effective remedies. This legislation, which was started last year, must be acted upon in both the House and Senate before the end or 2018, or it will be necessary to start all over and introduce a new bill in 2019.

Image creators need this legislation Now!
