mauritius images CEO Hans-Jörg Zwez Retires

After 44 years as owner and CEO of mauritius images GmbH Hans-Jörg Zwez has retired. Stefan Ploghaus has taken over as new owner and CEO of the photo agency.  The purchase price was not disclosed.

Stefan Ploghaus -51 years old- has been in the media industry for decades, he served as consultant, among others, for mauritius images. Before that he was CEO at international media and financial companies including dpa Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH, dpa-AFX GmbH, AFX News Ltd. and DGAP mbH.

mauritius images has an excellent reputation in the German-speaking and European media industry thanks to Hans-Jörg Zwez, who directed the family business through two whole generations. He started at mauritius images really young and transformed it into one of the most important picture agencies in Europe. mauritius images very well positioned thanks, among other things, to an experienced team and high-developed technology.
