Image Source founder and chief executive officer Christina Vaughan has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Asian Women of Achievement awards, held in London. Vaughan won against formidable opponents, which included the head of BBC Online Seetha Kumar, attorney Yasmin Qureshi (who is said to be in line to become the first female Muslim member of Parliament) and choreographer Carolyn Choa. The 10-year-old awards are sponsored by Lloyds TSB and celebrate Asian women that make a significant contribution to British life, across the media, business, arts, politics and voluntary sector.
