ImageState Split Up

Getty Images has made a deal to acquire the 17,000 John Foxx RF image collection from Image State for approximately $1.5 million or about $88 per image. For less than $1 million Sheldon Marshall has purchased rights to represent the Image State RM collection.

Joint administrators from Kroll Limited in the UK have been appointed to operate Image State until it can be sold or closed down. Rumors have it that at least one company is looking to acquire the entire company and at least 22 companies would like to acquire various parts of ImageState.

Jupiter Announces Q1 2006 Results

Jupitermedia Corporation has reported revenues for the quarter ended March 30, 2006 of $33.9 million compared to revenues of $19.7 million for the same period last year. The figure was only $1.8 million above the previous quarter despite a number of new acquisitions that should be providing revenue.

a21, Inc. has announced the completion of a private placement of $15.5 million of Secured Convertible Notes ("Notes") with institutional and accredited investors.
