CEPIC Announces New Media Event During Dublin Congress

Posted on 3/1/2010 by Julia Dudnik Stern | Printable Version | Comments (2)

CEPIC has begun to outline events for the upcoming Dublin congress, scheduled for early June. Included in the cost of admission is the New Media Conference, which will take place on Wed. June 9.

Organized and moderated by Lee Torrens of Microstock Diaries, this additional day of panels and discussion will cover microstock, metadata, stock video and the use of new and social media as marketing tools. Targeting photographers and agencies alike, discussions will also address licensing images in alternative ways.

Other participants will include microstock stars—Yuri Arcurs, Andreas Rodrigues and Tyler Olson—alongside traditionals such as Stock Artists Alliance president Shannon Fagan and industry insider Ellen Boughn. (Can Boughn still be called a “traditional” after writing a book about microstock?)
