Getty Images, through its Contour brand, now represents celebrity portraiture of the Los Angeles Times.
Contour by Getty Images specializes in licensing and syndicating celebrity imagery. Photographers who shoot for the brand include David LaChapelle, George Holz, Mark Seliger, Wolfgang Ludes, Steve Pyke and Randall Slavin.
According to Contour director of photography Elodie Mailliet, the Los Angeles Times. offers one of the premiere photo archives of celebrities ranging from Aniston to Zellweger. The daily newspaper has been in business since 1881 and currently has a print circulation of 739,000 and 1 million online readers. The Times is owned by Tribune Co., which filed for bankruptcy in late 2008 and is looking to conclude the resulting restructuring some time this fall.
