Los Angeles-based Footagehead, a royalty-free division of FootageBank HD that recently launched to focus on the online and mobile markets, has made a commitment to donate a portion of its revenues to hunger relief.
The company has partnered with AID Darfur, Feeding America and the United Nations World Food Programme, selecting such organizations based on their fiscal responsibility and the extent to which they make an impact on the world’s hunger crisis. For each download, Footagehead will donate $5 to the charity of the buyer’s choice.
Footagehead provides content at the single price point of $300 per clip, which is lower than other royalty-free high-definition stock-footage Web sites. Parent company FootageBank HD offers rights-managed stock and remains the only company with an exclusive specialization in high-definition footage.
