Footage.net has announced surpassing 1 million stock video clips in its online inventory. The most recent additions have been the libraries of CriticalPast and DVarchive, which have also increased the size of Footage.net’s royalty-free offering.
CriticalPast has added more than 57,000 of its historical clips to the Footage.net platform. These date back to 1890, with each clip available in more than 10 formats.
DVarchive is offering 70,000 stock-footage clips, including both standard and high-definition footage. There is a wide variety of formats and codecs, as well as price points that target both the low and high ends of the user market.
Footage.net also invites visitors to its newly launched Producer Directory. The company says its previously launched Archive and Researcher Directories are filling up and hopes that producers and creatives will add themselves to one of these online indexes.
Established in 1994, Footage.net bills itself as the film and video production industry's most comprehensive resource for serious footage research. Though its online inventory stands at 1 million clips, the search engine provides access to over 6 million records from some 30 stock, archival and news footage databases.
