announced its 500,000th member. Confirming microstock's penetration of the professional market, the newest member of Fotolia community is Porsche Inter Auto's Nicole Schlotterer. As head of new media for the Salzburg, Austria-based office, which supervises 122 European car dealerships, Schlotterer is responsible for all stock-image purchases. According to Fotolia co-founder and president Oleg Tscheltzoff, Fotolia initially targeted small-business owners, but has also attracted some of the world's biggest brands.
