Miami-based royalty-free producer
Glow Images is expanding into the rights-managed arena with an initial offering of 1,500 images in June. The company plans to add 500 new rights-managed images per month. Company CEO Gustavo Baez said the move addresses a market gap.
Glow has contracted London-based Pepper Stark to source international distribution partners for the new collection. The consultancy's Simon Woodthorpe confirmed continued market demand for niche rights-managed collections.
Growth is also in plans for Glow's royalty-free collection. Currently at 50,000 images, it will soon be augmented with 3,000 new Asian images produced in Beijing and other new business, travel, sports and home-interior productions.
