Now in its second year, the New York Photo Festival opened Wednesday and will continue through Sunday, May 17. This year’s curated exhibitions are “All over the place!” by William A. Ewing, “Gay men play” by Chris Boot, “I don’t really know what kind of girl I am” by Jody Quon and “Home for good” by John Levy (see daytime schedule of events for presentation times). In addition, numerous workshops and portfolio reviews will take place, and space is still available in some of these. NYPH was esigned to be an American counterpart and thematic precedent to the prestigious European photo festivals Rencontres d’Arles, PhotoEspana, and Visa Pour l’Image.
