Photo District News is beginning to prepare for this year’s convention by touting the results of a recent survey that ranked PDN PhotoPlus Expo #1 in timely purchases following the trade show.
Conducted by an external market research firm for Exhibitor Magazine, the survey identified PhotoPlus among the highest-ranked for exhibitor return on investment and attendee purchasing power, as well as for attendees most likely to make timely purchases following the conference. were included in the analysis.
Practically everyone (89%) attending PhotoPlus in 2008 intended to make a purchase within 12 months. The average for the attendees of over 60 U.S. trade shows included in this survey was 52%. PhotoPlus is also high on influence, with 94% of attendees in a position to recommend or make final purchasing decisions.
PhotoPlus organizers think such top marks demonstrate that exhibitors experience significant and quick return on their investment, which may be particularly important in the current economic climate. The conference is scheduled for late October and, in addition to exhibit space, will offer over 100 photography and imaging seminars and workshops. Registration is now open.
