Visual Connections—the freshly rebranded Picturehouse Marketing US—is hosting the
2010 Image Expo at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York on October 13.
This year’s event is presented in partnership with the Picture Archive Council of America, image-recognition technology company PicScout, motion-content consultancy FootageInfo.com, the American Society of Picture Professionals and the Art Directors Club.
Image Expo will provide its trademark venue for image sellers to connect with buyers, including designers, art directors, researchers and other users. This year’s event will also include sessions on copyright, career opportunities, licensing and using footage, Web-based collaboration tools and using photography to sell brands.
The expo and all afternoon programming are offered free of charge. The copyright seminar carries an attendance fee and is restricted to professional image buyers and researchers.
