Adobe Stock has added over 100,000 4K video assets to its current collection of over one-million video assets. The site also offers over 45 million images and graphics.

Adobe Stock video content is available for licensing and can be searched, browsed and purchased directly from the Creative Cloud Libraries panel in Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC. 4K assets are available for US$199.99 each. While standard license terms apply, there is no limitation to the number of impressions. (HD versions of the 4K clips are available for $79.99). For more details on Adobe Stock 4K video, visit http://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/adobe-stock-announcing-4k-video/.

For comparison purposes here is a short list of some of the other footage providers and the clips they currently have in their collections.

Dissolve 900,000 1,590

iStock is a large footage provider, but doesn’t provide information on the total clips in their collection. They do provide counts of clips in various categories. Some clips fall into several categories so the number of total clips will be much smaller than the sum total of the clips in all these categories.

Based on counting the clips in the same categories on Getty Creative and Shutterstock, I estimate that the total clips on iStock are in the range of 1.5 to 1.7 million.
