Adobe Stock has announced a partnership with Reuters that will enable creatives to access Reuters editorial content, as well as over 60 million royalty-free commercial photos, videos, illustrations, graphics, 3D assets and templates.

The partnership will allow Adobe customers to view and license Reuters entire photo and video collection in Adobe Stock, including:
    •    Reuters photos covering news, sports and entertainment events with thousands of images added every day and over twelve million images in the archive
    •    Reuters video footage covering all major events across the globe, including the unique Reuters archive library of historical news footage featuring over a million news clips
The Reuters integration into Adobe Stock is expected in the first half of 2017. The announcement was made during the annual Adobe MAX: The Creativity Conference in San Diego.

With the latest release of Adobe Stock, customers can now experience an expanded marketplace including two new asset categories – 3D and templates. New and experienced designers alike can leverage these assets across their creative projects and benefit from the unique integration features offered by Adobe Stock and Creative Cloud.

3D Assets

Experience with 3D is no longer required for designers to create amazing photo-realistic 3D visuals using Models, Lights, and Materials.
    •    “Models” represent physical items and were curated so that they are easy to customize.
    •    “Lights” in the collection add real-world lighting and reflection options to create different scenes.
    •    “Materials” are formatted to represent various textures such as metals and woods to allow designers to bring life to various surfaces.
These new assets are all optimized to work with Adobe’s Project Felix. Project Felix is a Creative Cloud desktop app that will enable you to composite high-fidelity, photo realistic graphics using 3D and 2D elements. Learn more about Project Felix .

Templates

Newcomers to design can use these pre-designed kits as a starting point for their projects as they become more familiar with the various customization options available in Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC. More experienced designers looking to save time or get inspiration from artist-made templates will also find many suitable options for social media layouts, wireframes, print projects, and more.

Select templates are integrated into the File > New function of Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC – enabling users to jump-start their creative process. You can browse additional template options on the Adobe Stock website. Each template comes with a preview available which lists all of the included components and important details. Visual Search

Whether you are looking to customize an Adobe Stock template or need imagery for other projects, you can now find assets more easily with the new visual search option. Visual search allows you to perform searches based on a selected image instead of a simple text entry. For example, if you have a low-quality image and want a better alternative, or if you found something that’s close but not quite perfect, you can now find visually similar images across the millions of high-quality options in the Adobe Stock marketplace.
