Masterfile Offers Inexpensive Subscriptions

Posted on 10/14/2015 by Jim Pickerell | Printable Version | Comments (1)

Masterfile is offering its customer a unique subscription plan to Crestock’s entire collection of 2.3 million photos, illustrations and vectors. Prices start at $50 a month to download 50 image with no daily download limits. For a one-year subscription commitment prices drop to as low as $37.42 a month to download up to 50 images per month.

Masterfile owns the microstock company Crestock. The Masterfile collection including the Crestock images totals about 5.9 million images.

The default search on the Masterfile site shows images from its traditional RM and RF collections as well as the Crestock collection. With just two clicks visitors can easily choose to only see the images in the collection(s) they choose.

If a customer chooses to look at both traditional RF images and the Crestock RF collection the customer is shown all the traditional RF images before any Crestock image is shown. However, the customer can choose to see just Crestock images if they want the lower priced offering.

Masterfile also offers higher priced subscription options for some of its traditional RM and RF images. These subscriptions start at $99 for 9 images a day and $199 for up to 20 images a day.
In addition to English, Masterfile has translated its image search into French, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese.

CORRECTION - Masterfile does NOT offer subscriptions to Rights-Managed or Premium RF content.
The $99 and $199 subscriptions cited in Jim's article are simply different pricing/usage models for the same Crestock (Budget RF) content.
