Rights-Ready Pricing

Getty has launched its Riser brand that offers Rights-Ready (RR) pricing. The model includes: High Quality, RM caliber images; Broad use categories; Flat-rate pricing; Simple one-click licensing and 10 year license duration. The following are the definitions of usage and the prices.


Printed Marketing Material or Product/Packaging Use in any brochure or other printed material - including direct mail, public relations or sales material (including electronic versions of the finished piece such as PDF) - distributed to a targeted audience for commercial or promotional purposes. Also includes use in any retail product or product packaging.
    Some examples of such uses include:
  • Brochure Or Direct Mail Or Sales Catalog - includes electronic version of finished piece (e.g., PDF)
  • Annual Report Or Financial Report - includes electronic version of finished piece (e.g., PDF)
  • Travel Catalog - includes electronic version of finished piece (e.g., PDF)
  • External Printed Presentation Or Report - includes electronic version of finished piece (e.g., PDF)
  • Press Kit or Press Release - includes electronic version of finished piece (e.g., PDF)
  • Sales Giveaways
  • Packaging or Products



  • PRICE - $800.00 USD

Web or Electronic or Broadcast (Commercial) Use in any web, electronic or broadcast media - including Internet, email, mobile devices, television or presentation software - intended for commercial or promotional purposes. Also includes use in any film, video or theatrical production.

There are 64,770 images in the initial offering, but there appears to be lots of similars. For example there are 16 shots of the same woman sitting at a desk with very slight variations in expression. There were also 18 head and shoulders shots of the same latino woman with the same clothes and slight variations in her expression. There are a total of 44,357 people images out of the 64,770. All in all, it seems to me that at the current stage there is relatively little variety in the offering, but we can certainly expect that to change.
