Shutterstock has announced a yearlong partnership with
TED, the non-profit dedicated to ideas worth spreading. This partnership is designed to encourage more dynamic, visual presentations from the world's most inspired thinkers. As part of this partnership, Shutterstock is providing complimentary subscriptions to speakers at TED2012 and TEDGlobal2012. Contributors whose images are downloaded as part of these subscriptions will receive their normal royalties.
Early next year 10 to 15 aspiring commercial photographers will be
offered an amazing three year FREE education in the technical and
business aspects of commercial photography as part of the Yuri Arcurs
International Commercial Photography Academy. Yuri is the most

Visual Connections (formerly Picturehouse Marketing US) will be hosting
its annual Image Expo at the Altman Building in New York City on

The annual CEPIC Congress, to be held this year in Istanbul, is
scheduled for May 18 through 21, 2011, just a little more than a month
away. Image distributors from all over the world will be in attendance.
